I thought you said Bush was an idiot…
I don’t understand something.
Why is it that Bush could mispronounce the word ‘nuclear’, create new terms like ‘misunderestimated’, and be an idiot, but Obama isn’t stupid when he compares a freaking SUV to a Model T?
Or makes some other random gaffe?
Ok, ok, I know that the ’special olympics’ thing was supposed to be a joke. I didn’t get mad about that like some people did (except all of the insane liberals that love the man regardless of what he does). Hey, we all slip up once in a while, right?
So why is it OK for Obama to make a stupid slip-up, but not Bush?
Liberals are so freaking hypocritical. I’m absolutely sick of being bashed over my conservative stances, being called things like a ‘mindless zombie’, a ’speed bump on the highway of life’, or even ‘not worth wasting time on’.
I mean, really, what the crap?
I can’t even make a joke without it being cross-examined, condemned, and yes, even misunderstanded. Yes, that was intentional.
Really. How long are we going to put up with liberals excusing little things (which I’m somewhat OK with depending on the situation) for their guys, but unleashing all kinds of attacks when our guys are less than perfect?

I would venture to guess that people are giving Obama a lot more slack because he is not violating the Constitution at every turn. Yes Obama made a comment he should not have made toward the Special Olympics, however, he has not lied to get us into a war that didn’t need to be fought, taken away tons of our liberties and pissed off just about every country with any kind of power. People tend to give you a little more slack when you don’t treat their rights like trash.
By the way I call a spade a spade no matter what the party (see my comment above about Obama being wrong for his comment).

How is Obama (and more specifically, members of the Democrat party…I’ve got to be fair about this…) NOT violating the Constitution with all of this stuff (regarding the bailouts, AIG, etc.)?
No, he didn’t lie to get us into a war. He lied so that the Dems could seize power of banks, the auto industry, etc. Obama deserves no slack when it comes to that.
Thanks for saying he was wrong about his comment. That wasn’t the point of my post though…
I know an off-hand joke (albeit in poor taste) when I see/hear one. I even overlooked the Obama gaffe. What I’m pointing out is how hypocritical it is to give him a free pass when slamming Bush for the same type of thing.
“It would be easier if this was a dictatorship…”

First off you cannot use the bailouts as saying Obama and dems violate the constitution when the idea for bailouts and the largest original bailout came from conservative republicans. Remember all your favorite conservatives voted for Paulson’s bailout. Then as we discussed before, McCain wanted to go as far as to nationalize housing, having the government buy up bad morgage debt, something Obama opposed. Secondly, he does not violate the Constitution nearly as much as Bush did, as he has gotten rid of torture, secret prisons like Gitmo, unfair pay and warrantless wiretaps.
Obama has not lied about the economy at all and has done nothing to seize power of any banks or auto industries. Show me one bank the government has nationalized? You can’t bc there isn’t one. Show me one automaker the government runs. You can’t bc there isn’t one. Those are false claims.
The point of your post was to call democrats hypocrites for not pointing out their own flaws. I pointed out Obama’s flaw in his choice of words, but as I said before he gets more of a pass then Bush bc he doens’t spit on our rights.
But be sure to point out what banks and automakers are nationalized under the Obama admin….

I bet you can’t name my favorite conservatives :D
McCain isn’t exactly right-wing, either.
Sure, I voted for McCain because I didn’t want Obama to succeed. I should have voted for Paul anyway.
Perhaps Obama didn’t violate it ‘as much as Bush did’. So a little violation is OK now? How about they violate the right to free speech…as long as it’s just a little and it’s less than Bush?
Where does it end?
Obama said the economy was crappy. Then, a week later, it’s stable. Then, a week later, it’s crappy again. Either he’s 1) lying or 2) stupid.
Banks, businesses, whatever. If the government is an owner of a business, and it’s getting taxpayer money to be ran, it’s ‘nationalized’. AIG. Citibank. Whatever.
Obama wants to pass legislation that encodes ammunition with identifiers. How is that not spitting on our rights? If Bush doesn’t deserve a pass, neither does Obama. It’s all about being fair, right?

First off, you say McCain isn’t a right winger, yet all the right wingers chose him as their republican candidate. Hmm.
McCain is bad, but Paul was worse. And you think Obama won big over McCain in the election….it would have been a lot worse against Ron Paul. That guy has no sense of reality whatsoever.
You make this slippery slope argument but all it does is act as a red herring. Your blog is here to make the reader think that Obama is just violating the Constitution willy nilly when in reality he is following it much closer than we have had for the past 8 years. It’s intellectually dishonest.
Obama has said repeatedly ever since the campaign that the recession is bad and has been the worst since the depression and I could list speeches each week to prove it. If you want to say, oh well he said it’s bad, then good, then bad, then you can do that with anyone. Remember McCain and Bush saying the economy was fine until things finally hit rock bottom?
Again you are misinformed. You say if the government is a owner of a business…..they aren’t. AIG and Citibank are not owned by the government. Nor is any other bank or automaker.

Eh, the Republican party is filled with RINO’s now. McCain is no exception. Stop using blanket statements (unless they truly fit). Not ALL Republicans are conservative, and not ALL conservatives love Bush.
Paul was worse? I know people personally that were swooning over his stance AGAINST Bush, the Federal Reserve, the IRS…but then changed. I don’t know why. It’s sad, really. At least Paul is consistent and doesn’t hang out with Nazis like Nancy Pelosi.
Paul has a very good grasp on reality. You know, since he lives there, unlike many other politicians.
OBAMA AND HIS FASCIST FRIENDS ARE VIOLATING THE CONSTITUTION. BUSH DID, TOO, BUT OBAMA IS DOING SO AT BREAKNECK SPEED.
This blog isn’t to condemn Obama specifically, it’s to educate people.
Ah, heck. No, it’s to build my massively massive ego and promote my opinions. I should run for office. :D
OPINIONS. Based on facts. Untainted by the spin that I see around me.
I remember McCain and Bush saying that something needing to be done about Fanny Mae and Freddie Mac while Pelosi and Elmer Fudd said that they saw no need to look into it… :D
I’m misinformed. Last week, Barney Frank was going on about how they needed to exercise their ownership rights over AIG…I heard the audio from their mouths. But I’m misinformed.
